Morde as everyone were saying was broken, nerfed badly, actually removed. Now Yorick is the same.
He is broken, his ult absolutely OP, does massive damage and is a heavy tank. I don't know what to say. What riot wanna do about it?

Haven't seen yorick complained about in a long time. The biggest complaint he usually received was that he is a huge lane bully, but gets kited pretty hard and doesn't do too much damage endgame. He is also pretty easy to gank early. He's also extremely stale to play, so he isn't very popular.
He can be countered by any decently ranged champion or any champion with sustain. Warwick can Q his ghouls and heal from them and nasus gets his q up killing them.
I don't think Yorick is really OP, since not enough people play him correctly anyway. Mundo, on the other hand... I build full tank, and my cleavers still chunk people down. Not to mention, with his ult, he's practically impossible to kill.
There are many ways to beat him.
---Sustain out his mana, easy unless a skilled yorick
---Take out or kite his ghouls until they are dead and harrass when they're on cd, he gets a 15% dmg reduction when all 3 ghould are out, not many people realize that
---Play yorick, honestly. Try your best playing him and see where you get beat and where you can crush. Then you can know when to go in and out playing against him
I love Yorick. I have played him and done well with him and been crushed with him quite a few times now.

I'm sure there are more, but pay close attention to the types of things each of those 10 champions do, and you should be able to quickly learn how Yorick can be trumped in top lane. Some of them like 
are junglers, but those junglers I felt are very powerful against any Yorick.
I also do not really recommend any AD ranged champions against Yorick. I feel as if Yorick can build against them too easily.
Yorick is a very situation oriented champion and can build against his opponent, not just counter the opponent into the ground. His stats are so balanced that he just has to build correctly. (No, not every time will you see Yorick building the same exact thing every game, some items will be frequently used, but Yorick has no set build you should be using because he can go in many directions with his build).
If you get a few kills early game, you generally want to build offensive items, and that can include things like 
or literally straight AD or AP items. Yorick's Q stacks well with his attack damage, and his W stacks with his ability power (which is why is actually pretty good on a fed Yorick).
If you're not getting a few kills, you can build tanky. Tanky Yorick is more common so I won't go into explanation there, unless anyone requests it.
Yorick can do other things than just top lane. He can also mid and build AP heavy items, creating a Blue Yorick, and support, and in some very rare cases, if something crazy happens on the other team, he can become an adc.
In other words, he is really well balanced. To some that might be really boring, and his skills are not hard to use, so adds to the boring. But I personally love when I play as him. Though, I have encountered pretty nasty combinations of top/jungle against Yorick and mostly it involves champions like I listed above. They can out-sustain Yorick and harass him hard. 
is a great champion against Yorick too I think, especially if you put Yorick mid lane and try to go AP, because then Swain is just where he should be, in mid lane, as an AP carry. Oh! and forgot to mention, 
can do well against Yorick as well! When I play Yorick, I'm afraid of those champions, but I'm also not the best player out there, so it's understandable. :P Anyways, hope this stuff helps a little bit!
