Yas is just about as op as kat, akali, teemo, fizz, yi ect. in fact, a fed yi is more op than a fed yas, same with teemo, kat ect. Disagree if you will but if you think about it hes pretty balanced compared to other champs
It really just depends on how the player uses him, people call him OP because of poor teamwork, feeding, flamers, or the player has (I'm not trying to insult) a better way of playing by exploiting your weaknesses and even unexpected ganks, tower dives. All possibilities of how Yasuo can get fed and be as OP as many people think.
Katarina is counterable with a stun/invulnerability move. Kayle is an easy example. Akali is counterable by anyone with MR. Galio is an easy pick. Same with teemo. Yi is countered by hard armor based champs like malphite. Yaso has yet to be countered like anyone on your list.
A shield that regenerates like 3 times in 1 teamfight late game that gives around the same effective health as a warmogs. I think that he is far from balanced and that in any competent players hands is just too difficult to deal with. And yes it is a skill based game, but it seems that your own skill has to be a LOT higher than the yasuo player to beat him. And since you are matched with players around the same skill.... Yea yasuo is just too strong right now
I know someone who can play Yasuo in every lane as everything needed. Support included. He mains Yasuo, and not only that- I've seen him become legendary and get shut down in a 1v1 before with him and the one who shut him down being at full health.
Small list of champs who can counter him; Katarina, Fizz, Yi, Diana, Vi
Kat; Full melee other then Q. Fizz; Full melee other then Ult. Yi; Full melee, can build lifesteal. Diana; Melee, has attack that can go around his windwall. Vi; Melee
Now here's a small list of champs he counters completely;
Jinx, Ashe, Sona, Caitlyn, Teemo, Lulu, Nami, Nidalee.
Jinx, Ashe, Sona, Caitlyn, Nami; Windwall blocks every attack, including ult.
Teemo; Windwall blocks all but his ult.
Lulu; Windwall blocks all attacks, not sure about her polymorph though.
Nidalee; Windwall blocks her q and normal attack, does not block her ult. Unsure if it stops her pounce though.
Now see? Not hard to counter Yasuo. And if he doesn't have his windwall up, there you go. Ranged can have fun until his windwall is up. No offense, but Yasuo IS OP. But only if you don't know how to counter him.
And if you say Katarina can't defeat him, think; Katarina's only real ranged attack is her Q, and she builds AP. Not only that if his windwall is up, all you need to do is e, w, q if you have the time, then ult.
in my opinion it dosnt matter who youre fed as yi gets 1-2 items and one hits almost all squishy champs, that is if he has the right first starting item its completely true and I can show you video proof if youd like its not bullcrap its a problem alot of people have and riot seems to not doanything because people like you say things like this yi's anoing and needs to be nerfed or removed haha i have alot of poeple to back me up with this as well:)
Yasuo's laning phase is pretty ridiculous but if he gets champions on the other team that are good against him like rammus or other hyper tanks he really is not a threat. He is like Riven who if he loses laning phase he is not very strong until he gets his core items so if that is stalled until the other team has enough items to win already he does not have a huge impact on the game.
