Taric to be nerfed?

So I'm still a noob and learning different roles. I've been using lately, and been having nothing but success as a support. I used to hate support because I couldn't get a crap load of kills, but now im understanding that it has nothing to do with that. So every time I pick Taric I get comments like, "Taric to be nerfed he's OP", "Taric needs to be nerfed". I'm tired of hearing about this champs OP, or this champ and so on, there's so many OP champs. If this is something to happen to Taric what kind of Nerf's could I expect? what would be obvious nerf's and/or logical nerf's.

You can't base yourself of theoritical nerf to change the way you play right now since that wouldn't be optimal. The best thing to do for now is play with Taric, enjoy and get better with him. IF he gets nerfed, then you can learn the differences.

Taric DOES need to be nerfed.

The issue is that he has too much innate tankiness built in so that when he builds any items he just feels unbeatable. I watched a Taric recently who solo triple killed a zac, ahri and caitlyn (note: not all at the same time, they came in staggered, but still that's super impressive).

I would take away some of his passive armor on his W, but not much.

What kind of abilities to be nerf and if so what kind of items would I have to use to compensate for such nerf's.
