BloodThirster x Infinite Edge Rush (balance)

item 3031 Critical strikes deals extra 6 + (3 x level) damage instead of 250%. Lvl 1 = 209% lvl 18 = 260%. item 3072 Add active. Blood Frenzy: Grants 10% Life steal 10% MS, 20% AS. Increase Damage dealt/received by 10%. Last 6 seconds. 60 seconds cooldown.

Could these changes make BT a viable first item rush again?

BT is still a viable first item, but sort of a defensive one due to the shield. Also i do think that critical hits are unbalanced for marksman. at least i think panthom dancer should cost more, or may be have less crit chance and attack speed.

the thing with these items though is at low elo like bronze and silver.. like me.. always always always rush IE first.. to much dmg over BT even with that new shield. I main ADC on my main with a 87% win rate in 20 games on trist for this very reason.. early on when its a 2v2 lane. BT gives you so little lifesteal in that 2v2 fight, that the person with IE will win that fight because of the dmg and crit almost every single time.

i hate bt first but thats just from low elo perspective of a s3 player

Once upon a time there was season 1 Last Whisper, then they fixed it, the end - that is the story of the BT change you suggest its too many stats - also the item changes and new item (Essence Reaver) has yet to sink in, infinity edge scales as you get more items anyways so the change is not needed at all, crit damage scales with the crit chance and damage you have and not the item by itself Also Bloodthirster was never intended to be first item, or second item, it was meant to be 4th item after ie shiv lw then bt, BT was only rushed cause it was abused of how overpowered it was (its still pretty overpowered right now actually)
