I was wondering if anyone else noticed that thresh won't execute minions below the required amount of health. I've played thresh a lot and I noticed this pretty often. I was curious if this is a known bug or if its because of thresh's E passive but its pretty annoying.
It used to, as well as for anyone else using it. When Brace first came out it wasn't all that uncommon to see both bot laners get one to mutually last hit for each other. Becasue of this Riot changed the execute (but not the gold sharing on kill, that's the same) proc only with melee champions. Because of this Threah actually fares better than most ranged supports buying brace specifically because his E's passive helps get the minion kill. Other than that if you want to proc Brace play supports like Leona or Taric. Hope this helped!
That's odd... it should still trigger the gold share when he kills a minion.
That's because his AA isn't considered meele, its actually ranged, albeit a short one. :)
Nonetheless, you can still buy the item,(you should still get the gold) but you would simply have to last hit the minion now, or use your abilities to kill the cs easily, which kinda reduces your harass potential a bit since you end up procing your E passive when you last hit minions.
The choice is up to you!
