Annie Support Counters
I was wondering on any decent counters to annie support? I have tried blitz, thresh, leona, zyra, lulu, and nami. None of them have worked that well.

From what I have seen in game the best way to "counter" Annie Support isn't through who you pick for support but with an ADC and how you play your support. Your going to want an ADC that can harass Annie with out getting in range of any of skills (Cait and Ashe are good choices) and then as for you playing support you need to maintain brush control with out getting caught out, as Annie is most dangerous if she gets the jump on you from the brush.
Annie is very similar to Leona, Lux, and Fiddlesticks. Controlling the bush is key for an Annie support. If you can maintain control of the bush then you can negate a lot of the power of an Annie support. Adcs with long range poke such as Cait, Jinx, Lucian, and Varus can all punish an Annie every time she attempts to get the drop on you through the bush. Also my personal favorite support, Janna, is surprisingly effective in protecting the ADC from Annie. Her shield can protect the ADC when they get stunned and then her tornado and Monsoon can provide the necessary delay for the stun to wear off and the ADC to get back to safety.
Also you can try to think outside the box a little. A Fiddle would probably do decently against Annie as your long range silence can keep Annie from getting the drop on you. Also terrify will generally outlast the Annie stun so you can neutralize their ADC while yours is out.
Also Red Strike and I are experimenting with an Urgot support right now. Urgot has harass that far outstrips that of an Annie so you can severely punish that dumb Annie support. As we try it out a little more I will let you know how it goes if I can remember to post.
Like everything in the world it depends, if you have a good adc well then thresh, blitz,leona are great counters.
If your adc likes to get stunned/hit your best option is like posted bush dominance, or going someone like janna who has just massive disengage to prevent ur adc from ever entering harms way.
Lux is a good counter because she has good ap scaling (to stay even with Annie) as well as the fact that she usually outranges Annie.

Thresh and Leona are the strongest supports in the game now.
But against Annie, you need a champion that has STRONG disengage and sustain for the ADC. Whoever you go as, try to use your abilities for those purposes.
Janna - Strong disengage (Q and R) and a her shield can mitigate Annie's Burst (All mentioned previously)
Karma - Strong ranged poke, Move Speed Steroid to keep your ADC out of Annie's grasp, Tether is decent peel to keep Annie from closing distance.
Zilean - Poke. Poke again. Q bomb vastly out-ranges Annie's arsenal. Speed up or slow down in one spell. GA-style revive in case Annie DID get to your ADC.
I'd argue that they are the strongest picks against her support-wise. Someone mentioned Lux support and I'd agree that her and Zyra might also be good picks due to their own scaling off AP, great zone control and longer range.
I generally use Sona and will just poke her out of the lane and keep her poked out. As mentioned earlier - bush control and range will shut Annie out and give you a great chance to get free kills should she try and engage onto you.
