@Riot - Twitch
First of all I really like the VU that Twitch is getting I think that it looks really good and is a pretty amazing improvement from his current state. The QoL changes he is receiving also seem to be big improvements. Twitch is my favorite champion to play and second favorite champ design wise (outside in-game play). However, it makes me sad that he is considered either a very specific strategic pick or outright unviable. I believe this is because of his inability to siege a turret if the enemy team has any CC ability. I like how each champion has different strengths and weaknesses but having a champion whose class's main job is taking down turrets yet has no counterplay allowing him to do so if the enemy team has a skillshot and/or targeted CC ability seems a little to big of a weakness.
All other ADC/Marksmen have either a movement ability to help dodge, someway for them to have 700+ range on a relatively short cooldown, a AoE CC ability to counter with if they feel they are about to be engaged on, a spell shield or a combination of 2 of these. It can be argued that Miss Fortune doesn't either but at least she can use her passive to get an AA on tower every few seconds.
I've been trying to think of a way to give Twitch some slight ability to AA a turret against an enemy team with CC that isn't overpowered and maintains his weaknesses as an immobile ADC and having an unsafe laning phase. The best idea I have come up with is to grant him the movement speed increase on his ambush (Q) immediately on activation instead of once entering stealth. Its a small change that will allow him to dodge while attacking a turret instead of being a sitting duck. The movement speed increase is 20% at all levels, and when compared to Draven who isn't a renowned turret sieger himself Draven's Blood Rush (W) grants 40% MS at level 1 to 60% MS at level 5. I believe that this will retain his weaknesses of being immobile in teamfights and unsafe in lane since he will still require 3 seconds to become stealthed when taking damage and for an ADC taking 3 seconds of damage is 2 seconds more then is required for you to die. If needed the time to become stealthed could be changed from 1.25 to 1.5/1.75 without taking damage if the MS changed was a little to strong in lane.
If you read all that then thank you I hope you will comment/make suggestions. It would be really nice if a Rioter responded even if the response is no way TOOO OP though I'd be shocked if they cared what some random like me thinks. Anyway is my idea to OP, a good idea, he's fine stop crying, or is my point good but my solution bad. Since they are doing a VU and QoL improvements seems like the perfect time to make him more viable thanks again.
