I found something that might be a bug of Trundle's

So, I was playing on the Crystal Scar the other night and I was joking around with a teammate playing Trundle. When I was going back to the base (b), Trundle used his Pillar of Ice (e) on top of my location and the pillar knocked me to the side (as it does normally) and it interrupted my teleport back home.

Is this a bug or is this meant to happen? I can see it maybe being possible to knock an enemy out of b, but for a teammate, it seems a bit risky in a lot of situations. Not sure if it makes any difference but he was using the Lil' Slugger Trundle skin and I was playing as Jayce.
