Someone looking for a special mage to climb them outta bronze

Hey guys, Buddha finally back to the forums after getting thrown into Bronze 3, so mad about it XP, asking for help from who ever gives it. Most of my games went ok, ended with 5/5 and the end of my placing, the games that made me mad were my few games with didn't do too bad but not wonderful either (I main top anyway so obviously wasn't too mad). But just that feeling of doing ok in mid doesn't feel right. I want to be better, smarter, deadlier if you will, so i was looking at other champs that have the PO/T to sustain fights without feeling the need to burst down my opponent and leave myself wide open to...well...ANYTHING that might kill me.

I understand that mages like are meant to burst and slaughter their opponents in lane then B when they need it, but i played people like and who had burst POTENTIAL but didn't need to do so to win their lanes or secure early kills. I kow is more of a constant harass champ, but he's new and untested in my situation especially higher rank players will most likely smash me with him.

But I heard through the Void and their grapevines, if they have them, that a certain visitor from the Shurima Desert might answer my problems. , had a chance to test him on the PBE and the way he just messes with his opponent and then up on screen "______ has slain ____" and you go 'oh!? i did that?!' and just keep farming, sang out to me and we were best buddies ever since.

Now i know the PBE is different than the actual servers, so thats why i'm asking for how you guys see in the ranked servers if he's any good at all still and how he should be built for best Over-Time damage or if Bursting is the better alternative.

Also, one item that i tested with was and i liked the extreme healing he can do with it with all the insane per second damage he does but what is your guys opinion on that with him, if its even worth building on him.

Thanks for any and all comments on this, i really wanna pull myself outta bronze this season and try to end in Gold or even Plat (honestly aiming for just high Silver ranking) hope to see you guys on the fields for some great honorable games :)
