This is just a cool reward idea for being dedicated to LOL/a particular champion. I was thinking that if you played a champ X number of times you could unlock a exclusive skin. It could only be a 520 skin, and maybe for just for a limited time, until unlocked again. Just an idea, and I know riot makes most of it money off of skins.
This has been asked for before, with many variations. Personally my favorite one (can't find it right now sorry) was a suggestion for a unique icon instead of a skin. Less resource intensive on Riot's end, but still can include the nice end-result of bragging rights. As well as gives the possibility of tiers of icons, i.e. an icon that gets more grand as you hit more obnoxiously high milestones.
I can see how that would make it more fun. Should it be how many times you play the champ period or only in rank matches?
