Rengar vs Kha'zix

After seeing the cinematic today, it reminded me of a topic I've been meaning to inquire about on the boards. I know it's not a HUGE issue that throws off the balance of the game, but am i the only one who feels that winning the "The Hunt is On" quest as Rengar is not nearly as beneficial or satisfying as winning it as Kha'zix. Kha'zix gets to have a fourth evolution, which greatly benefits him. Rengar just gets full stacks, something he probably at the point in the game when they fight would have anyways, it is even less satisfying post rework seeing as how you cant lose stacks as Rengar anyways. Just curious if Riot ever plans on addressing this.

Imo, the event should have been reworked with Rengar. Now that Rengar no longer has to worry about losing stacks, having a fully stacked Bonetooth Necklace at all times isn't nearly as valuable. In addition, since Rengar needs at least 10 stacks to start the event, and he gains 1 from killing Kha. This means Rengar can receive a maximum of 9 stackes, which really isn't all that much.

How about if rengar wins the hunt, he gains all previous rewards and gains two ferocity whenever he uses his q. He also gains 2 ferocity whenever he kills a champion. Or... Rengar's abilities have increased effects. Q: Deals 100 more damage W: Heal is increased by 10% E: Slow duration is increased by .5 seconds and stun duration is increased by .5 seconds. R: Rengar gains 30 armor and 30 Magic resist 3 seconds after exiting stealth

Kha'zix doesn't really get much either, since most people won't evolve his ult. His ult gives him an extra second and a third cast, but much more thinking is required than to just catch up to an opponent.

I agree that winning as Kha is more beneficial at the moment. Perhaps giving Rengar another ability benefit (such as when he gains range on his leap or extra time on his ult) would give more meaning to Rengar winning the quest. Maybe something like +25% tenacity, not 100% sure what it could be.

Maybe it adds an additional bonus to Rengar's BTN? Example:

Bonetooth Necklace:

3 - Rengar gains 25 flat movement speed while out of combat or while in brush. 6 Trophies - Unseen Predator's range is increased by 125. 12 - Thrill of the Hunt's stealth duration is increased by 5 seconds. 20 - Thrill of the Hunt's bonus movement speed while stealthed is doubled. Head Of Kha'Zix - Rengar generates 2 ferocity over 2 seconds after he uses an empowered ability.

I've suggested giving Rengar a bonus effect at 4 ferocity, but people didn't like that last time

Does it really even matter? The Hunt is On is an easter egg event - time spent balancing an easter egg is worth less than balancing more relevant gameplay features.

Well a lvl 18 rengar is much better than a lvl 18 kha zix If kha zix doesn't instaburst rengar from a bush then rengar will just instantly just e q q w and then kha zix will be dead by then
