Nautilus And His Powers And Stats

I bought Nautilus cause he looked bad ass and he is awesome but he has a major flaw that I've seen people complain about allot! including me XD his spells take WAY to much mana to use and it doesn't help that his own mana is pretty low. The recommended build for Nautilus doesn't give him like any more mana or mana regeneration which is stupid and something they need to fix, I'm sure there are builds to fix this but Riot needs to decrease his spell costs and increase his mana so he doesn't need to go back for mana all the time.

I think that is the reason why he is mainly played as a jungler, so he can grab blue buff to take care of his mana issues for the most part.

I mean other than that, for his role you don't need all that much mana since you just pop your ult/hook someone to initiate time fights and tank damage.

You can always try different builds with him, maybe pick up a frozen heart for the armor/cd/mana pool

I don't play Nautilus as much as I should, but when I do I tend to play him support more so than jungle, so I have a fair amount of experience with his mana hungriness. And as a Nautilus player, I can tell you that this might be a bit too much.

Nautilus already has a really strong kit, and mana is the only thing between us and spamming his abilities for freelo. Simply put, allowing him to abuse his kit anywhere outside the jungle with little concern to mana would make him a bit overpowered. I'm talking Blitz pull with a 10 second cd and reduced mana overpowered.

If you're really having mana problems and it's irking you like it does me, I recommend working an item 3025 into your build somewhere. It also synergizes really well with his kit. If you're playing AP Nautilus mid, which is really fun btw xD, rush item 3027 picking up item 3010 first.

Like Pwndras said, item 3110 is really strong against aa heavy team comps.

Personally, his mana issue does seem like a problem however, considering his damage output and his utility that revolves around his kit, his mana shouldn't be much of an issue since he doesnt focus on farming too much and even if you were going on a farm spree, using his abilities correctly and purchasing the right items would obliterate his mana problems
