is good on or are there any better items for him, cause i feel like its a waist due to its mana champ capabilities.

considering how fast the skills can be off cd for rengar, sheen would bring more burst to his dmg which is not bad.

It's really good. It allows the Q to crit and does somewhere around 220 bonus damage. Plus attack speed, health, the movement speed buff, the attack damage, etc.

You question an item simply because of mana though... A phantom may give more attack speed and crit, but it gives less mobility and damage overall.

i know all that its just that i wasnt sure about the mana part of it and i asked this question to see if i should get phantom dancer instead for easier mobility during ult but its starting to sound like the trinity force is better than i thought

not benefitting from Mana (or AP) doesn't mean it's bad. Raw stats-wise, Trinity is still efficient even if you don't benefit from Mana, without the passives and movement bonus.
