19/20 of my games (gold 3) feature a troll on one or both teams. AFK, Intentional feeding, or raging so hard at their teammates. Its inexcusable. Tribunal IS NOT WORKING. Fix this. It is stressful playing this game with these kinds of people in the community. I play games for fun, not to be tortured by the socially-inept. I am seriously thinking about trying out other MOBAs to see if they deal with their community better.

This does in fact seem to be a serious issue, and having it addressed would be able to at least give us some assurance as to what is going on in the EUW.

I'm actually gonna upvote this, because I can relate.
I've been reporting people non-stop and it just feels like I get at least one troll/rager/afk in every single one of my games.
I don't know if it has something to do with the tribunal, but it just makes the game less fun :(
Now I'm spamming ARAMs with a friend, at least I can get my daily win that way.

I don't know about the other regions, but on EUW the Tribunal has been in recess (aka down) for months, and now toxic players just laugh and say nothing will happen to them because the Tribunal is gone.

Presumably all the reports are still being tracked, but even before the Tribunal went down, most of the cases in there were for games 5+ months old, and this huge downtime is just making an even larger time gap between offences and potential punishments.

I'm in Gold III right now and not having this issue. Granted there's always the occasional one, but 90% or so of my games have been run of the mill ranked games. i.e. normal brief rages at mistakes, maybe some guy trying to trashtalk and failing hilariously, nothing too major. Haven't had an intentional feeder in I think 10 games or so.

Since you want to have fun, try playing normals. According to Lyte the toxicity is a lot worse in ranked than normals (and my anecdotal evidence agrees with him.)

I play exclusively normals (and ARAMs) because negativity ruins games for me. I'd rather lose with a positive or neutral team than win with a negative one.

Subjectively, I haven't seem seeing any more of this recently. My recommendation is to try out Team Builder! I've found it tends to have far less toxicity than normals, which in turn are less toxic than ranked.
