Is Quinn underplayed?

I really just want to know, why is quinn so underplayed? I've been playing quinn for quite some time now, & believe that i've gotten pretty good with her at this point. But i have also noticed that no one else plays her. she's a great duelist after hitting 6, with her additional attack speed, blind, & gap closer. So why is she not played more often?

Maybe because she has to use her ult to escape and thats not reliable enough?

Her lack of escape and easy telegraphing of damage (her passive) makes her playing an adc not horrible, but simply not as good as other adc's. Playing her as top, imho, is better but her lack of escapes and short aa range makes it difficult to kite and do decent damage. The few jungle quinns I've seen have always not been able to clear fast enough or healthy enough to do much.

End of the day, she's not bad, its just that other champs do their roles better than she can and do it easier.

Her main source of damage is her passive, and she loses all the benefits from it when she ults... Like the other guy said, play her top, not ADC. Any ADC Quinn needs to burn in hell because she is the most useless champ in a teamfight with her low aa range and low dmg without her passive. The only way to reliably use her passive is vault, and it is really easily interrupted by people like riven or vi. So you just used your escaped and got closer to them...

Personally I feel that Quinn's ulti turns her into akali with less dashes. As an adc, you normally don't want to be diving into the middle of the fray. Personally I feel she fits the split pusher role perfectly, as she can basically 1v1 everything.

When you use her ult as an adc, chances are you are going to be focused instantly due to you being right in front of their faces. Dead Quinn is dead.

I played about 25-30 games of Quinn back in Season 3, and managed a respectable(But not great esp given the few games) 65-70% wInrate. I defiantly love Quinn. As she's great at catching people, and escape afterwards(With her Heightened Senses ability seeing everything around her and who is closing in and from where), topped with being able to easily vault over walls. And of course, split pushing, given at least 2 people have to go to kill a Quinn(usually) and has the ability to just run away easily.

Personally I stopped playing her due to what I saw as a bug with her vault, though I have no idea if it's intentional or not. Basically when vaulting an enemy that flashes\dashes before Quinn makes any contact will force Quinn's vault to fly her in the opposite direction of where she cast it, which is how the ability ALWAYS works on none-blinking enemies. This would mean vaulting a front line to apply a slow+High damage in a team fight would sometimes result me, as the ADC, being in the middle of the enemy team because their front line decided it was too much damage and flashed back when I used vault (or otherwise knew this Quinn mechanic) and I always played her when Ezreal was popular. So vaulting onto the arcane shifting Ezreal was quiet common, and often forced me to take a tower hit for no reason.

Quinn is a great champion, can tower dive well on low hp targets due to Vault applying the vulnerablility, and would honestly work great with one of the many new Kill lane supports that have been given birth to due to the Kage's pick update. As between both their bursts they can easily insta-gib any adc or none-tank support.

Hell ya.. Quinn is great, but fuck her vault even if it's part of the reason she's awesome.

Edit: Did a test to test her vault, it appears the travel speed on vault was increased and this bug fixed so I'll probably play again. Though I don't adc by will very much
