@Riot, Talon needs a rework

I wanna talk about Talon right now. Does Riot care about him? He is by far one of the worst midlaners that gets completly manhandeled like a pleb by any ranged not-passive farming champ. The only thing he can do in lane is W (which is really small). He cannot AA or he gets 3-4 AAs and a spell or two on his face. Only thing he can do is W.

Why are other assasins lane monsters but Talon is such a weakling? Most ad assasins dont even have mana (see Rengar , Yasuo , Riven and Zed ).

Talon is completly fucked if he goes oom in lane whereas Zed can safely farm from a distance of 1k+ (with both w and q). So Zed can do all that but Talon has to use his only farming spell which doesnt even kill an entire wave and makes him push the lane. Anyone who is even slightly good at this game could completly starve him to complete uselessness.

You can't even kill your enemy when you hit 6. His Ulti is most times completly useless (enemies only get hit by 1-2 blades most times) and is used for escaping shit compared to Riven and Akali who just completly destroy everything on their path (note both are non mana users AND have escapes, one even has a stealth that lasts longer than talons stealth).

Your Q is also quite bad. Compared to Darius W it only does slightly more damage, but Darius slows with his W and has a longer range on it too.

His passive is nothing compared to other assasins' passives. Damn it, Zed passive can do 10% of someones max health as damage (thats a bork active guys).

Curious, I've had my successes playing Talon mid, though I don't play him often. First of all, stop comparing single abilities, compare entire kits, that's how they're balanced.

Talon has a devastating silence that amplifies his damage after which he just rakes, stabs and walks away, focusing on then dodging the late counterattack (silences on assassins are op). He can do this repeatedly if he is ahead. If things didn't go too well for him, after a certain point rake just kills all ranged minions, allowing for safe farm and you can always roam botlane for squishy targets. Your level 1-3 are really harsh but you should play around that and be passive until you can trade favourably. Get health potions, don't eat too many autoattacks (remember that they get minion aggro when they autoattack you in your minion wave, they can't chase you indefinitely because of this) and just let those ranged minions go if you have to, they're worth less gold than melees anyway.

The ultimate is quite amazing because you can flank your opponents with boots of mobility or ghostblade stealthily, jump on top of them, burst them and damage the rest of the team with your rake in the process. Remember that the ultimate works just like rake, it's irrelevant by how many blades they get hit. They just take damage if they get hit and they can take this damage when the blades go out and when they return. Hit them twice and it's a good deal of AoE damage.

The passive is kind of meh, but it's extra damage in extended trades and your autoattacks deal relevant damage.

I do play Talon (when I play him, which isn't often) as a really heavy roamer, roaming frequently to bot/top with boots of mobility to pick up an extra kill, backing frequently to spend my gold, regain mana and swiftly get back in the action with my mobility boots. I rarely have mana issues in lane because I take care not to spend too much mana (flask is a really bad starting item for a snowbally ad assassin Imo) and I remember to frequently back in midgame when roaming (ganking takes lots of mana).

You're either trolling or have no idea what you're talking about.

while i would like to see some changes to Talon, u obviously have no clue what ur talking about, ur W can and will clear a minion wave with some ad +lvl7(like most waveclear skills need u to be lvl 7 with some ad/ap to clear a wave in one go) **The ult damage doesn't depend on the number of blades!!!! **don't know how guys always get that idea, pretty ever talon post has some guys posting that bullshit.
The ult deals it's damage one time upon cast on anyone getting hit by one or more blades(given the hit boxes of the blades, it's everyone in a circle around talon), and it deals the damage a second time upon breaking stealth via attack, recasting or after 2.5sec on anyone getting hit by one or more blades. And talons lvl 6 all-in is one of the strongest bursts in the game, it's realy not hard to delete any squishy from ~ 75% health in one combo, wich comes instand on 700 range and with a silence...and don't go retard and tell me other assasins can burst someone down 100-0 at six, cause they can't. Some have the mobillity to follow up the burst to finish their victime befor it can escape, but no assasin in this game can burst someone 100-0 with one combo unless already ahead. sry if i sound a bit harsh, but i'm a bit anyoed by all those posts about talon spreading wrong info cause they obviously don't know how the champ works, and also about all the QQ about op asassins bursting people 100-0 on lvl 6 'even if behind'

The problem of talon is that he lacks reliable escape, can't lane vs no-squishys as he runs oom befor they run out of pots, and he lacks the dps to realy trade with bruisers/tanks, and if he can't burst down a target he's pretty screwed, makeing him a feast or femine champ, either he snowballs and destroys squishy in a split second with no counterplay, or he falls behind and doesn't do anything...and his passive sucks.

he would need some more survivabillity(eitehr sustain/tankiness or beeing more slippery), some more dps(would like less cd on W), better ecape/mobillity(E targeting friendly units, some cd-reduce mechanic for E), and definitly less singletarget burst(replace passive with something that helps his survivabillity like mana/health on lasthits and more on kills/asissts, or a shor stealth after useing a skill or kill/asisst or something like that, remove the damage amplify from E, evt reduce the Q insta damage and move it to the dot, or slightly nerf the ult damage, but with passive and E-amp reomved, his AAs and Qs would deal 20% less damage, wich allready is a goos nerf to his singltarget damge, since W and R also loose ~13%. Anyway, i think his E shouldn't have a mancost, it's a all-in move that is very situational to use without any damage in it's self, and the 3% on rank 1 are prettymuch nothing, so i see no point by further limiting it by mana(as talon already got huge mana issues)
