i have to say i c ant see how taric is op at all.

just played game with him, half health under turret, rengar 5/0 jumps at me and i destroyed him

taric > all. lol

he was full, i was half, i was under his tower. lol

Try taric, its made supporting so much funner, unless your adc plays like a bot you should be fine
