What if Blue Buff was changed to "Grants 25% of damage dealt to jungle monsters as mana/3% as energ"

and the same CDR boost.

Now junglers get to keep the advantage is brings, while mids lose out on it, and so junglers get to keep it more and thus get the experience and gold they need.

It eliminates the decision point of giving it to a jungler and giving it to a laner. That actually isn't a good thing. League needs decision points to function, and if blue buff was specialized as such then what would be the reward for sniping blue? What would be the reward for killing a jungler for blue? What would be the point of going with a mana resource mid? Nothing is forcing you to give up blue to laner, if you want it, take it. Whether that turns out to be a good choice or a bad choice is the whole point.

....wut? Mids don't get blue buff unless the jungler gives it to them anyways. Not sure who you're playing with, but buffs are the junglers and whoever gets them is the jungler's discretion. Nothing wrong with having blue buff as it is and letting the team decide how to distribute it. Plus that would just be another change that encourages junglers to focus on farming as opposed to making an impact in the game with ganks or objective assistance. Need to have a balance.

This defeats the entire point of what blue buff is. It's a map objective too you know. Apply your thought theorem to red buff too. Do you think that sounds intelligent?
