Why You Shouldn't Duo Queue (Thoughts?)

So I found this video yesterday, and I was wondering about your thoughts on it. I'm still fairly new to ranked games, still climbing my way out of bronze. (Currently in promos for bronze 2). What do you guys think would be easier to climb the ranks with?
