Bard didn't give two flying flips about the people dying on the mountain or the old man dying on the steps. item 3070

If he had intervene and aided the villagers, he would have fallen from grace like soraka.

I imagine that this video was set during the Noxian Invasion of Ionia. Although his title is "caretaker", perhaps his agenda is quite different than his fellow Celestial, Soraka? Soraka would have stayed around to heal the old man, but Bard had other priorities. Bard's mission was to only get the chime. Imagine if the Noxians got their hands on that thing.

I fail to see how there's anything appealing about Bard's character personality-wise or lore-wise. I mean, if he had shown some remorse for abandoning the innocent, then maybe I could relate to this character a tiny bit. For now though, I just view him as a one-dimensional character who's worse than a robot.

Bard cares about Runeterra as a whole not the individual beings on it so I can understand why he let all those people die. In the end their sacrifice saved everyone else on Runeterra. :D

I wonder what that sacred treasure is who was fighting who for it. And when.

Is he supposd to take care of people? Or take care of something else? like a stone.

It seems to me that he might have higher priorities than saving bunch of guys from other guys. Still that does not pretty much corresponds with gameplay, eh?
