Need tips: Eve main (3-trick) beginner streamer

I'm about to start streaming my games. I need a bit of advice on getting started, such as programs to install and how to start with the best quality streams on sites like YouTube and Twitch TV.

Currently working a full-time job, but I would like to go to part-time and stream full-time as a league player.

Do you have any advice for someone in my position to become a successful streamer? Give me the full, blunt, non sugar-coated goodness. Just give it to me straight on how hard is it going to be, and what I would have to do. Thanks.

Also, pretend money is no object.

I've seen streamers such as SoloRenektonOnly using OBS (Open Broadcasting Software). It's beneficial because you can record or stream, and if you like video editing or making highlights then you can use the recorded video file to modify.

EDIT: Also (In my unqualified opinion), people seem to prefer streamers who talk, rather than playing silently. So you can do a variety of things, talk about what is going on in your game, or talk about something off-topic.

Find a pattern or brand and then stay consistent, (In my unqualified opinion) people will probably be more likely to stick with you if they like what you do and see that you are consistently doing that thing.
