LCS Stream Chat

Just something I've been taking notice of recently and had a realization about. Riot is against toxicity and inappropriate behaviour in game, but in practice they're only doing a small piece of what they need to do in order to actually reinforce that. An example of this is their lack of regard for what goes on in the chats during streams. Despite it being streamed through YouTube/Twitch, Riot needs to be more responsible in regards to monitoring chats. On any given stream I count several instances of toxicity, abuse towards fellow viewers as well as players, substance abuse, racism, and sexual comments that are inappropriate for a public setting where there are viewers that are of a younger age. I see a complete lack of monitoring of the chat, and it lets people get away with too much. If it's not going to be monitored, it shouldn't be available for use. Twitch streamers are responsible for what happens in their chats to an extent, Riot should be as well. Yes, there is the option to just hide the chat... but if anyone who actually wants to use the chat for actually talking about the LCS game being played... well, I've seen those players just get verbally blasted by others in the chat. If it's not tolerated by Riot in game, why is it tolerated on a stream THEY'RE broadcasting?

4.3 You agree that you will be solely responsible (to YouTube, and to others) for all activity that occurs under your YouTube account. This is a direct quote from YouTube's posted Terms of Service in regards to YouTube accounts. Chat is inadvertently included in that statement given it is under that account. By not addressing behaviour that goes on in live stream chats, Riot is essentially supporting it.

These are just my thoughts, I find it confusing that there is such a large discrepancy in Riot's expectations of player behaviour. Regardless of the platform, it is Riots content.
