Things I Don't Like About This New Currency (Blue Essence)

From what i have seen with this new preseason update, i think it's not bad. The only thing i really hate about this update is the blue essence and how you can gain it. For people who are really high levels, like up in the hundreds ( I'm surprised people have already made it there), it takes them a while to level up since they need more experience points. Once they level up they get a champ capsule but there is no telling what they might get from it. They could get a 6300 BE champ and get lots of BE from champ shards, or they could have done all that work to get a Master Yi (450 BE) and only get about 200 BE from it. One thing that I have seen people raging about in this game is not getting BE from games. The only time you can actually get BE from games is in the First Win Of The Day mission and that only gives you 10-20.

These calculations made by MysterQ show how long it will take to unlock champs using this new BE system.

Overall, I will admit that it has been slightly easier to buy new champs with BE but i miss my precious IP.

Pretty sure once you reach level 50 the experience needed to level is at it's max

If he was playing every day yet also trying, deliberately trying, to spend as little time on League as he could, as a challenge or whatever... I don't see how it is even possible to earn that little BE per week.

And it's not like it's hasn't always taken a long time. There's was no rarity of posts made on the boards of people doing math to show off how very, very, long it would take to unlock all the champions with IP while not spending a cent on the game using the "unlocking more champions than you would ever want to play" standard.
