Same non-premade teammate 2 games in a row

Can someone explain to me why/how this happened? I thought that the matchmaker was supposed to ensure that you get different teammates each game? I thought that there were supposedly hundreds of thousands of players on the NA server, with thousands playing at any given time? So why then did I get the same non-premade teammate in consecutive ranked solo queue games?

You might suggest that maybe it's because there were very few players in queue at the time. Well that doesn't really make sense, considering that a match was found within 15 seconds.

It happened again today. Does anyone have more information regarding this? A player ending up with the same non-premade teammate in consecutive games seems extremely strange and counterintuitive...

This usually happens when you queue almost immediately after finishing a game Happend to me too couple of times.

If you wait 5 mins, it wont happen.

Also had people in my team and then the next game the same person was the enemy xD
