This New System ? Riot is stepping away from Old Roots

I have supported league for 13 years. and ever since season 2- 3 ive noticed riot has made New Gamers their priority, simplifying the game for those who "never have played pc games" can ever have hopes of figuring out what to even do & your "average pc gamer" can just hop on and already know whats going on in a matter of their first game. Making the game more and more communicative. I get it. But you are shying away from > " making a game Hardcore gamers will love to spend hours and hours playing."

I will more than likely be saying goodbye this year.

This new system isnt Older player friendly, I have spent so much time into runes and run pages for it all to be just thrown away, Since I also didnt get any BE compensation for as much IP & Runes I already worked so hard for. Masteries and runes into one ? I cant build specifically the way I want anymore utilizing my knowledge of rune building to my own specific play style at that moment ? its all generalized catering to the new player who is able to utilize everything at lvl 1. BE rewarding is a joke, and since ALL I GAME "IS"/"WAS" LEAGUE, when I reach lvl 80 ? whats the calculations then ? Im done with league CONSTANTLY changing the game up every single year. Catering to the new player rather than their Vets who have been with Riot from the near start. Im surprised they didn't change the entire map layout again and item selection.

Can you please undo this new system riot? These rewards are a insult for Vet players

it is and it's a bummer. there's good and bad news, though.

Good news is, the community as a whole seems pretty solid on this. It's generally a majority voice that says "we don't like this, revert or change this."

Bad news is thats gonna take like seven fucking patches, for real. They threw the baby out with the bathwater, which is gonna necessitate like seven goddamned patches. I think the game will be in a better place 4-6 months from now, maybe a year.

There's also the possibility of the "Extremely vocal minority" problem, where it turns out the people complaining are not the majority opinion and so nothing will be changed then and we are eternally fucked. However, I have played and tested the new runes. I played against Rengar before the runes, and after. The difference is immediate and obvious.

The Resolve Tree, outside of the health and Guardian, is nearly impossible to even tell if it's having any effect. Outside of it's major Keystone I've never been able to tell if Resolve helps anybody. The precision tree is immediately and obviously the most powerful, and is definitely too powerful, or the other trees need to be buffed. Given how most games actually do end at 20 minutes, I guess it needs to be nerfed, which sucks. I hate nerfs, even if its needed.
