I see we’re skipping the rose tinted glasses and just putting red duct tape over our eyes.

If it makes you feel better, even fewer players know how to play new GP.

Are you even serius? It was one of that braindead champs. I loved him, I played hundreds of games with him, but I can't remember these hidden mechanics or builds that no ones knows. Can you remind me?

Bah, GP rework was a massive success, and I played both iterations extensively.

I like him as a AoE threat zoner. Not a Q spam lane bully that can also scale

The only unique thing he had going for him was that he could deny minions (and 1-shot any ally pets like tibbers), a mechanic Riot didn't want in the game in the first place, and that's also the only real change that happened to his kit. The only other thing of any real meaning that changed for him between then and now is that riceblade stacking is no longer a thing.

Gangplank looked better before his rework. He look atrocious now.

I feel that way with Malzahar but he got reworked because no one played him and no one knew how to deal with him :/

I wish barrel mini game would go away.

Sorry, what? I could probably train my dog to play old GP. He was one of the simplest champs in the game. The only thing I miss about old GP is his AP build. Other than that, his rework was an upgrade in every respect.
