Hey guys, since reaching diamond n playing more iv noticed a huge increase in ghosting, mostly due to people flaunting there streams in chat and was wondering if its report able, or is solely the responsibility of the streamer, especially if they are not using a delay. Opinions, and any riot employees with input on the penalty's of such play. i dont think it violates the TOS but you never know.

Unfortunately no, its not bannable and its to the responsibility of the streamer to hide their map. There's also no way to prove somebody is ghosting, as they could have a different twitch name from their league name in the chat and riot wouldn't have the information that you were watching twitch while playing either. You can link your twitch and your account, but most players in high elo have multiple accounts they swap between dodge timers anyway.

I really wish it was, I play with and against streamers all the time and typically at least somebody is ghosting them each game. Infact its so common streamers accuse players for ghosting if the enemy simply invades them. I've been accused of stream sniping for invades against players who I didn't even know were streamers due to being on alt accounts, just because I know how to track players on the map. Can you blame them? No.

It's not. If you're going to stream your gameplay in real time, that's the risk you run.

It doesn't violate the ToS or the Summoner's Code. It's akin to looking up someone's op.gg or using LoLSumo.

To the best of my knowledge, no. Super scummy though. On the other hand, IMO you should be able to report your team mate for "assisting the enemy team" if they stream without a delay or an overlay to cover their minimap.

Why would riot do anything about that....

Id youre openly broadcasting ur game, riot isnt going to police people watching it. Its got nothing to do with them.
