A 10% true dmg on infinity edge is way better than 25% extra physical damage

The 10% true does more damage to tanks meaning armor is more effective now slowing down teamfights some and allowing tanky champs back in the meta.

(I haven't done the math correct me with math if I am wrong.)

You're not wrong, the 25% extra damage is good against squishy champions or when u have a lot of armor en and crit

No, 10% true dmg makes more dmg to tanks and to everyone with a single armor item compared to 25% extra dmg.

However, since Zeal items are buffed it makes sense that IE is worse.

Kind of depends on who you're asking doesn't it?

Crit based ADCs have been garbage since the change, so maybe they'd like to bring them back to life? Other Squishies won't really like the change. Tanks/Bruisers on the other hand prolly like the idea.

you need 60% damage reduction from armor for the true damage to become "better"

this also makes last whisper/arpen in general a much more useful, important and significant stat, and things like lifesteal much more effective on squishy targets

there are a lot of arguments for why true damage is worse
