Hello, I recently posted in the team recruitment forums looking for low elo players to duo with on my smurf(this account) so I could get back into coaching(helping them learn the game and climb) but a lot of golds added me saying they were "low elo". Is gold really that bad/low to be considered low elo, I never really thought about it before but I thought it would just be middle area since you technically get the rewards. Just wanting other player's opinions on it, thanks!
p.s sorry if this is in the wrong area, wasn't sure where to post :/

So looking at this chart which is from https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/rank-distribution
I want to say that top 10% is high elo Plat 5 onwards.
at least if you dont consider top 10% of something good then IDK what to tell anyone else.
Silver 1 and below is low Elo
Gold 5-1 is average/medium.
Looks look at this standards here and IMO about each division regarding skill level
Challenger/Master - these are elites
Diamond - Almost at the elite level just need to fine tune some things usually in decision making based on game knowledge
Platinum - Mechanics are solid, but game knowledge and situational knowledge may need find tuning or vice versa
Gold - they have decent mechanics and decent game knowledge, but may not know how to play their team comps or still make bad decisions
Silver - mechanics are getting better but game knowledge is usually pretty bad
Bronze - this could be so many things unfortunately it is usually terrible mechanics and terrible game knowledge.
