WHy didn't Riot listen to the Aurelion changes?

So I'm mostly upset abotu the E and W changes since he is a part of my pool and he's special to me since he was the first midlaner I got Master7 on, but, why the Hell did you go through with these changes? I mean, you cancelled 2 buffs and you gave Kalista (a somewhat weak champ imo although I play in low elo) a buff, so why the fuck didn't you listen to feedback on Aurelion?? I hope to God this gets reverted.
