Hi yes can i please stop getting placed with level 30s? thanks!

I never thought this would go for so long but it's really starting to piss me off,, so basically matchmaking for ranked is pretty straight forward, you're placed with people of similar rank/game patterns which isn't a problem at all! My issue stands with just standard norms. I don't know what matchmaking rules riot has for norms but it makes no sense for me to be placed with level 32 players when I'm 100 levels above them?? It wouldn't be so bad if rank was a part of this but it's really not (atleast last time i checked).

But it's honestly so frustrating trying to play a few norms before or after some really frustrating ranked games just to have half my team be levels 30-60 and the enemy to be all above 100? I'm not one to be toxic ig since ik it can turn away a possibly good player, but boy howdy have i come close. There's such a large knowledge gap, and as much as i love helping people learn, it's exausting to teach multiple people at once while the enemy knows what they're doing already. I promise this isn't a callout to players in that level range, (ur doing amazing sweaty) it's just that there's a lot to learn and it's normally around higher levels you get the experinces to understand the game patterns.

tl;dr matchmaking is wack and starting to make league more frustrating for higher level players, and I don't think level 30s like playing against level 100s, and someone should probably look into it?[slayer-jinx-unamused]
