Please Read RITO (ARURF + TOXICITY Paragraph)

(THESE ARE MY OPINIONS AND MINE ALONE. FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOUR DIFFERENT ONES IN A CALM, NON-INSULTING MANNER)

First off I'll tell you that i've been playing this game for quite a long time. I've seen autolocking AD Brand tops and I've seen men driven to madness on the rift. However today, i'm not critiquing the games gameplay, because I actually believe League of Legends is a solid, fun game. Today, I wanted to address Riot Games, and why I personally believe they've kinda dropped down from being my heroes. (AND A FEW SUGGESTIONS)

My BIGGEST issue with Riot has to be their reporting system/toxicity approach. I don't think you quite understand the amount of influence toxicity has in a game, Especially this one. I've legitimately played a beginner bots match with a friend just starting out, only to be called a "dumb Nr" by the mid. Now I'm not complaining here because of this persons vulgarity, I'm just quoting this to say that sadly, this is the games atmosphere. People are toxic, even in normal matches because a normal game duration take up a large chunk of time (Ranked probably longer). I know i'm guilty of being angry after losing a match because it took 50 minutes and it was neck and neck. This games atmosphere has, is and always will be toxic. Hell, i think every team based game is toxic, because there will always be a weaker link. I'm not saying just let the guy calling his teammates "TRASH A** NS" get off easy, but i am asking to try and go easier on these people. Remember that they're people that have bad days due to real world issues that will indefinitely effect their mood while playing a game. People in that state cant handle their supports negative comments and resort to toxicity as a means of coping with their anger. Again, I'm not saying these people shouldn't be punished, because they should. One thing i'm very opposed to is permanent banning for toxicity. I personally feel that people who've been playing the game for years on end don't deserve all that time and all that reward stripped from them. There are cases in the Player behaviour section of accounts spending a fortune on the game, and getting banned is like a knife to the gut. The fact that they spent money doesn't mean they shouldn't get banned, but in my opinion, the people who start playing this game won't read the fine print in the "Terms of Service" bubble at the opening of the client, so to tear such an investment away is crude and unforgiving. I know a lot of you are going to rip on me for trying to defend the people who are toxic, but hear me out. This is a virtual game where 99% of us aren't going to ever make a dime off playing it, therefor there really is no reason to be so serious and crude all the time. Like even on this board people will try to express themselves and their sides of the story and they just get trolled and torn apart by these "crusaders" hiding behind their keyboards. A solution to permanent banning would be permanent chat restriction. I know this has been proposed before and players were told trolls would just run it down mid. In my opinion, intentionally feeding should result in a permanent ban, as teammates have absolutely NO ways of combating that behaviour, whereas with toxicity, a permanent chat ban along with a lucrative ping muting button suffices plenty. Thats just my take on it, and I know i'll probably get lit up, but hopefully not. Thanks for reading

Gamemodes have also been an Issue. It's actually why I decided to write this in the first place. I greatly appreciate you guys bringing ARURF back. Although I probably would've preferred actual urf, It's nice to have a change of pacet. A suggestion of mine would be to make ARURF a permanent gamemode, as it's almost identical to ARAM in it's match duration, randomness, chance and chillness. It's honestly a great way to eliminate toxicity altogether, as it's atmosphere is very laid back and fun. In my opinion i think it would bring back a lot of retired players to the game, as well as offering a more efficient way to level up in order to buy champions! For me, I just don't have the time to play a normal summoners rift game, as the games usually take about an upward of 40 minutes. With ARURF, Me and many other summoners strapped for time can still indulge in their favourite game and rank up overtime, as well as only spending 15-20 minutes. This was just a piece of my time i felt like writing, and theyre just my opinions. Feel free to disagree :)
