Riot Is Sneaky

I have the weirdest suspicion...that riot knows who the trolls are, but they dont ban them because they want the trolls to spend all their money in the game first. Then after a year or two, they ban a huge wave of players, pocketing the cash and wiping the trolls off of the game. Wouldn't be such a bad strategy for making money, but shows that riot might care more about money than dealing with problems that us good players face every day.

Of course they will ban or punish the occasional troll to make it look like they try, but in reality these trolls are getting fooled into buying stuff and then getting permabanned, never to access it again. [slayer-jinx-wink]

If you were permabanned and continue to spend money on the game, that's on you.

Banning players leads to less money, not more.

It has everything to do with controlling behavior, which as expected, is pretty hard to do.

Whether you're right or wrong about the cause, the reality of the result is the same (which you're not wrong about). They do spend more money the longer they play, and they do all get banned at once, having both ruined more games for other players, and also having spent more money on League than they otherwise would have.

Still, without knowing, we'd have to ask other things like: does Riot gain more money by allowing (if unintentionall) trolls to play longer than they would otherwise gain from current players who leave due to trolls (and new/potential players who stay away due to trolls, and...)?
