Reduced Lp Gains

After the latest patch, i played a game. Before the game i was sitting at 2 LP. After a good game where my team played very well we managed to get them to surrender at 20 minutes. I load back into the post game lobby and i have received a whole 9 LP for all my troubles. The enemy team apparently not losing anything at all. This is apparently because people were having trouble connecting to the game making it so that any game where anyone left would result in the game becoming null. This is extremely frustrating as the Darius who was the one that left the game, left because he was getting mad at his team, the game, him feeding etc. Previous to this game i had been sitting in that rhythm that everyone knows. win lose win lose win lose. However Because i only received a reduce amount of LP i didn't receive a full game safety from demotion that i would of received if i was to get the full amount i was usually getting 18-19. This has caused me to demote and it has make my whole experience extremely frustrating. I'm not sure if this was a bug Or if it was just some classic spaghetti code that has ruined my ranked experience. I do think that something should be done to fix this as it is extremely annoying that i wasted my time playing a game just to receive a reduced amount of LP that in my opinion wasn't even worth the effort of playing. Plus 9 LP for a fair game has to be a bug or riot is seriously delusional to think that this is fair to the winning team or worth my time. No announcement given that they would be doing this as well as it only happening on the 1 game that i won. League isn't worth playing when you suddenly change the reward for winning.
