I had more fun in Silver 1 than Gold 4

I was really beginning to enjoy the challenge of the climb when i hit silver 1 and was so excited to reach gold 4. Finally made it to gold and i have now played some of the most disheartening games of league ever. I have had a troll/afk IN EVERY SINGLE GAME. I have had Bronze or Silver 4 players in every single game. I genuinely thought that i would be challenged by better and more competitive play but behold gold 4. the cesspool of feeders/inters/afkers. I am tier 3 honor 5. I have never had a leaverbuster or any kind of ban. I dont flame people. And i never Int. Why does Riot keep putting me with these people. Honestly today was my last game of league for a while. I need to consider if this game is even worth it anymore.

yeah there's something wrong with gold 4-2 ish

I am winning lane in every game that my support isn't intentionally losing because they got autofilled, and i think because i'm winning so hard on my smurf that my teams become lax and just int the games away, like because i'm strong they try to go 1v5 on repeat, or because their lane didn't do well they just tilt and decide none of us can win

I lost a 32 kill twitch game because my mid and top got mad and left the game because their own scores weren't very good and they "just wanted out"

Not to mention almost all of my games on that account my top mid and jg have died 5 times each by 8 minutes, then the copypasta squad will tell you "just carry hard" "just worry about your own gameplay" LMAO

please just play in gold after the winter vacation is over and these absolute wastes of our time are back in school and not ruining this game for another 6 months

Yeah there is literally 0 difference between silver 1 and gold 4. You get matched with the same players. All 4th divisions suck dick btw getting hier doesn't help

That sounds about right, but it's also because they squished more of the player base into smaller brackets during the last ranked update.

So, gold 4 is pretty much just high silver. New players can start the game in that bracket if they do well in their promos.

Games can be very lop sided if for example you get an actual gold level player against someone who just started the game and got placed in gold off promos alone.

In short, elo's just are not as meaningful as they used to be. Getting gold is not as big of a benchmark or something to be proud of. Sadly getting higher than gold to plat is mostly just for shiny border. Pretty much all the value in being gold is just to get the free skin at the end of the season.

with a 50% win rate, constantly getting low silver and bronze players that are 42% win rate and such. And it shows! They are the worst players that should NOT be in ranked games. I don't know why they can't just play normals or ARAM instead of ruining games for others without punishment. Had a adc in a 30 min game get 56 cs!!! IN RANKED! the hell is wrong with matchmaking.

There is very little difference between silver to plat, and the difference is mostly in mechanics and ego.

the fourth tier on the ladder is an in-between area, you get gold and silvers, until you hit tier 2~1 you will still see players from previous tier
