God King 150 VS Tokens Border Scam

-So i worked hard for 2 days to get 150 tokens so i can be able to buy this fancy border as my account has no border , You see i'm a veteran player who has been here since season 1 end's and quit 2 years ago and went back to see my account is not ranked and all and i understand why so , so i just wanted a fancy border to cover my 6 or 7 years old "borderless" account while in the loading screen , and here i've finally i got all the tokens i need to get the border , I buy it i just hop in to play and i'm waiting eagerly to see my border and poof nothing, NOTHING!!!, what are u guys thinking off ? are you trying to force people into purchasing the skin that way ? knowing that this "SCAM" will make people go like : " ahhh snap , damn it boy now i have to purchase the 20 dollars or so skin to see my hard worked for border" , Well this is complete BS and totally not acceptable, when did riot games sink so low, i came back to see this !! ,this is totally not acceptable at all You should give plain explanation on things before you put themm in events or for sale ,so that people can understand what they are going to spend their tokens/money/effort/time on .

  • I know alot of people fell into the same trap so what i'm asking every body to do -is the same as i did - is to submit tickets rioting against this immoral act form riot's side .

Also, it's not a damn "TRAP". You are just clueless. God-King Garen loading screen border. It clearly says it's for GodKing Garen. You are just an idiot looking for attention. Not Riot's fault.

well you could just wait for the skin to be on sale and grab it at 10$

BTW it is clearely stated that those borders works only with the relative skins

GUYS IT'S NOT OBVIUS IT'S CLALERY STATED

Go into your game look where you craft the border there is a HUGE "?" near the needed coin, when you press on it's stated that the border it's only applied to GOD Garren skin and that the craft don't provvide said skin

Borders have worked this way since they debuted them with the PROJECT skin line. It's an extra bit of flare when you have that skin, nothing more.

Why don't I have the border I unlocked in the loading screen?

The border is just for the God-King skins, not all Darius or Garen skins. You'll need to unlock the icon and select the skin in champ select to see the border, but you don't need to equip the icon.

Question: How can it be a scam for you if you didn't pay any money at all to get the loading border? You just play the game and got free rewards.

That you didn't really inform yourself about the rewards and therefore wasted your free stuff for it is actually not Riots fault...

Sorry for the names "God King Darius/Garen Border" not being obvious enough that they are for those specific champs.
