These new “events” are boring

"No one wants four skins, a prestige skin, and a battle pass. No one is gonna pay for skin for a champion they dont play, so the event is basically irrelavent. The missions are dry and uninteresting, I literally never look at the missions tab and end up completing it anyways, to get tokens for a glorified hextech orb. Everything went to shit ever since the worlds 2018 event, the first prestige skin and battle pass, little did we know this was going to be the format for every future fucking event.

I had hope it would change though, I really did, I was getting real hyped up for a PvE event, but to my disappointment we won’t be getting one.. or anymore real events for that matter. PvE events have been the most fun Ive ever had playing league, but I guess all riot wants to do is make skins :/. I don’t want to endlessly play summoner’s rift, especially when patch notes are so fking BORING, like actually CHANGE SOMETHING please. No one wants to play a game that never changes, most of the patch notes are nearly irrelavent. Thank god for aram and tft. Please!! we need event or rotating gamemodes to stop summoner’s rift from getting dry,

Why have we been getting half the content as 2018, wtf are yall using your resources for. Idk what yall are planning, but it better be worth killing off PvE events. Just wanted to vent my frustrations hoping so riot will get their shit together.

I see where you are coming from, the game is begging to get dry, but we have ARUF coming in the next few patches, and then possibly with the star guardian event we could see the PvE gamemode come back, if you remember the one they did for the last star guardian event. When you think about it they keep doing these types of 'events' for the pure fact that nobody is complaining and the company is probably making more money then ever with all these skins coming out. This is the first thread I have seen complaining about the new 'event' styles, so I guess if nobody is complaining then they don't really have a reason to go back to the PvE gamemodes/events. Apparently, this year is the 10th anniversary and I'm hoping they have something planned. One source says they're putting their sources on an upcoming mobile game (from a leak) and since TFT is fairly new and successful that they're putting their sources there. Plus, you're right: Playing SR over and and over can get tiring and the PvE events were such a great change of pace and made League more enjoyable with friends. I was really looking forward to playing Invasion again this year, but I guess they prefer the sales they'll make from the stupid tokens and goodie bags rather than giving what the community wants.
