Unexplained Rule in League?
Is there some hidden rule in matchmaking that I'm not aware of? It's like the moment you go on a good streak, the system takes notice and just slams you down to 0 LP. It's not even a "You've been playing better so the system matched you against more experienced players and you lost" situation. It's "You've been doing better than the system wants you to do so it's just going to send a bunch of bots your way. Have fun." This isn't even me being toxic or over-exaggerating. My match history is practically a huge block of blue followed by a huge block of red followed by another huge block of blue and so on.
I'm aware of "tilting" or whatever else you call it, but I'm playing perfectly normal. Although I lose here and there, for the most part I'm dominating my lanes, shoving when I need to shove, doing what I need to do to get a win. I look Top and they've already lost lane, turret, and 5 lives. I look bot and their combined death score is in the 10s and up. I look at tab and the enemy clearly has had free objectives because they've got all the drakes. No one listens to pings and when they die after my laner roams all of a sudden becomes my fault. There's a limit to my skill and I can't carry an entire team. Could matchmaking get any worse because right now it's as up-and-down as a bloody roller coaster and I've got no way to freaking steer or brake.
Every ranked game feels like a roll of the dice and if I happen to get decent teammates, chances are the enemy hasn't and then I'll steamroll to the finish line or vice versa. There literally is no meaning in my rank, I could not care less anymore about climbing. I just want. Decent. Teammates. That way if I lose, I actually feel like I tried my best for a win and not like I'm dragging a boulder towards the 15 minute surrender.
