Just wondering what the majority is, and trying to determine if main champs help decide the rank as well.

Not a support main, but whenever I do support, it's 100% Lux and zero fux.
Was a thresh one trick since thresh released, now its thresh and pyke, mostly pyke.
According to lookup morgana, janna, blitz, soraka.
Though I think it is morgana, karma, pyke, zyra, nami lately.

I usually stop after reaching gold, but I usually get there with just Thresh
800kish on Soraka, and Nami/Janna/Sona are all above 300k. I'm only G4 though; I've never tried to go any further.
Master a handful of champions and you can hit platinum. Plat is really nothing special. If you want high Diamond/masters/challenger etc you need to start considering your champ select strategy against theirs more than just knowing champions through and through I think? I've never run into anyone higher than low diamond.
