S9 Delayed for 24Hours

I'm just trying to figure it out Why do the rest of the servers have to wait, just because the US has a day off i would have though that they would send the data to servers and just set it up to be released on a schedule And more important, why is this information being released on a Private Twitter, when this is something that everyone that is playing league is wondering about, at least post it on Reddit where the majority of people who read league related stuff are

Because this only works in theory. Imagine Riot did that and there was an error while patching. Nobody would be in HQ so the game would be broken for an entire day instead of working with an earlier patch.

This has nothing to do with not being possible, it's just to prevent a major fuckup from happening (like having a broken game for an entire day)

Because Riot needs days off as well. This information was not released on a private Twitter, this is a Rioter's Twitter. The League Reddit is run by community members, not Riot. It is up to them to post this information on their page.

Riot members use Reddit as well, the point is that, reddit has more eyes on it than a private riot employ twitter

So if this is not on a private twitter then why is it not linked to red tracker or on main LoL nexus?

Just wondering why they would not post something like this on "Official site or boards" rather than a 3rd party software program that not everyone uses or looks for?

I would rather them make it last longer instead of screwing over junglers with this patch with jungle changes that no one has gotten a chance to play (aside from what a week on pbe for those who have an account).

I also seem to remember Meddler saying they weren't going to make any big changes in patches and jungle changes seem pretty big to land first day of season start, I believe he owes junglers an explanation as why they waited till season start to drop these changes (Junglers who will actually play SR in the horrible state jungle/scuttle is in, not me).

Well that is just whats on the server tho won't actually know till patch notes go up, wouldn't be surprised to see them hotfix them in as well like the monster hunter stuff they did last patch (they feel they had to put that back in a couple days after main patch).

Wonder where the laner's version of monster hunter is btw, where is the punishment for laner's who take jungle camps? Oh right that would mess with the Korean 2nd blue buff entitlement. Can't have a punishment for laners who take jungle camps to also hurt funneling techniques (or revert scuttle for that matter).
