Is constant changes to League of Legends suppose to be good or bad qua gameplay?

I've played this game since 2009 and it has changed a lot in 10 years. From old masteries and runes, AP items being butchered to hell, supports carrying games. You name it.

Yes, change is good because it keeps the game fresh and it brings in new players like with the K/D/A release, the updated Runes system, and new champions like Pyke/Sylas/Thresh etc.

Change is good when its constructive to the core philosophy of the game.

But honestly, That core philosophy has changed several times itself, and cant really rely on coming back to a familiar game if you take a few season break.

In my opinion? I'd say the changes have made it worse. Towers went from being strategic points needing dedicated planning on when to take them, Now its just "Rush them down, or wait for super armor to fade"

Dragon went from being a global jackpot of money to "Hey, Aatrox, Go solo that so i can kill this minion in 2 hits instead of 2 hits and a Q"

And while i will say that the Elder Drake was a nice addition, Giving an actual rival to Baron in terms of power, It really only succeeds if one team doesn't snowball a baron into an ED

Game turning into complete garbage due damage increasements.

Season 4 and 5 had it's prime, now it's "pick a more broken champ" who can deal more DAMAGE, DAAMAAGEEE and again DAMAGEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
