I cannot take a ranking system seriously when the “Master” tier is behind the “Challenger” tier.
For those who don't know they're going to add 2 new tiers just saying because he didn't mention it and it might be misunderstood ^

following the themes currently and not just for the amusement of "wood tier" I think the two new tiers should be minerals.
I also think that master should outrank challenger. It doesnt make sense to be a challenger after you've mastered something. it makes more sense to challenge something before you master it.
honestly i'd be amused if they added 5 tiers and for the wood branch they also added stone and iron. so wood, stone, iron, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, opal, onyx, diamond, challenger, master, and championship.
i get that this is too may divisions, but it's just a thought/ramble.

It's funny because it's sounding like they are going to add a new tier under bronze. No matter what the name of the tier is there is going to be some serious shit talk associated with those who are in it. Wood tier, tin tier, dirt tier, are all hilarious but in all honesty Riot is going to have an impossible task of finding a name that dulls how memed about this new sub-Bronze will be.

well, i supose youd like to put toxicly "bad"and unskilled players into that tier... so you should better call it Mercury(still dense enough), or maybe Quicksilver if it needs to sound mucho cool
I'm expecting it to be iron, copper, tin, or some other metal.
But I'm still hoping for either wood tier, cardboard tier, or for the bottom 200 players in ranked, Challenged.

Joke aside, I can't see how there can be players worse than bronze 5, to the point that someone at bronze 5 would be vastly better than someone at wood 5.
Most likely instead of a rank below bronze it will be one above bronze. That way there's no unneeded toxicity towards the people who are in the new rank and bronze memes will stay the same.
Cobalt and Titanium would be awesome imo.
They said the tiers would either be above bronze and below diamond or above diamond and below bronze. Also they explicitly said that there WOULD NOT be a wood tier.
