It's nice to know that not all the players in this game are toxic.

So I just finished a game as support Thresh, my current main. I was laning with an Ezreal, against a Xayah and Soraka. I've been on a hot streak, landing hook after hook and making really good plays. (Sounds like bragging. Maybe it is. All I know is I got level 6 in a day.) But this game, I couldn't land a hook. I just couldn't. I had (I think) 8 deaths by 20 minutes, because I kept doing dumb things, like stranding my adc while I stood in the middle of botlane either wondering why my hook didn't connect or pressing e in the wrong direction. Instead of him or the team flaming me, however, he gave me advice. "Act like you're kiting them 24/7","Don't engage, unless they are alone." It made me feel good, even though I was flaming myself, and I said so in chat, that the rest of the team was ok with me. After a while of them not giving up on me, I started to feel a little better about myself. From that point, I was able to play better, knowing that if I messed up the team was ok with it. We ended up winning that game. I definitely thanked that Ezreal a lot.

Tl;dr I was doing terribad, and the Ezreal and the rest of the team were helping me feel better and giving me tips so i could play better.

Thanks for reading! I just had to get that off my chest.

Exactly! Even if you never get that hook you can still run ardent and shield ez to compensate! Keep it going man!

This is why I never flame! Comebacks happen.

My last support game I played Soraka and did horrible. The enemy Jhin and Karma went full aggro level 1 and killed me. I ended up going like 1/15 and no one said a peep about my score. Our mid laner said "it's okay, we all have bad games and you'll get them next time!"

Made me feel so good and I wish that everyone was like that.

Yep for every toxic flamer or blamer there's a really cool peep.

Also welcome to Thresh. I had the same hot streak reaching the top masteries but lemme tell you this- once you hit that hot streak it just keeps going and you're going to feel like a god 9 games out of 10 from now on. Have fun man. Thresh is life. (also watch bunnyfufuu streams)

Stop the blame and be a hero and win!

You know, not being toxic isn't exclusive to being a good semaritan.

I don't know what the title is saying but it's far from all players that are toxic. You make it sound like everyone you've ever played with is toxic other than that guy that gave you advice.

I honestly don't have problems with players doing bad long as they are still playing to win and listening to the teammates advice.

It's when idiots don't listen to the team and keep trying to 1v1 the enemy top laner that they're behind expecting to win the 1v1 (when there is 0 CHANCE of that happening) that the other players on their team start getting tilted.

Plat top laners are such a pain to carry.

there is a difference between bad games and intentional feeding, but some players seem to blur that line severely and just forget bad games do happen-- i'm glad you got to see the good side of the community [sg-ahri-2]
