Ya know I remember back in the day when Riot use to actually sponsor community tournaments and give Triumphant Ryze as well as a good amount of RP. These communities popped up everywhere from small to decently sized amount of players, like maybe 30-60 people. Sometimes more. It was so fun to have a small "like-lcs" community where we would have casters and teams and compete for earnings. It was extremely chill and everyone was pretty passionate and had fun. On top of that it felt like everyone became a better sport because we respected each other, which in turn had us respect other players we met in solo queue.
The way you would be target banned, manipulated, mind games etc. It was so fun. Then Riot removed all that type of sponsoring and well, all those communities died. I'm sorry for sort of ranting, but I am just thinking of good times and hoping you can have those similar experiences in your community.
