Stopwatch = Zhonya's?

I keep hearing people saying item 2423 Stopwatch as item 3157 Zhonya's That's like saying Bard's ult, Tempered Fate, is item 3157 Zhonya's [sg-janna] Sure, they do have the same effect. But that doesn't mean the're the same. The thing they have in common is the stasis effect, but item 3157 Zhonya's give AP, armor, and CD. That's like saying item 3076 Bramble Vest and item 3075 Thornmail are the same

(Yes I know Zhonya's is the person who created item 3157 and probably called Hourglass by some. But IMO Zhonya's sound a lot more unique than Hourglass

Stop. They are the same.

They have the exact same function, cast time & duration. Bard's ult is AoE & delayed af compared to Stopwatch/Zhonyas.

Because since the earliest days of league when people when invulnerable the EFFECT was referred to as "ZHONYAS" not "invulnerable"

And since the EFFECT from stopwatch is the same the terminology carries over.

You know exactly what they're talking about when they say "ah shit he used zh.." There's no point in arguing semantics.

People have always used the term, erroneously or not, to mean "A champion turns golden and can have nothing done to them and can do nothing".
