I feel that they actually wanted to make a semi decent sequel to their Battlefront 1 only for EA to show up and ruin it by adding pay walls and loot boxes.
and now they are getting some of the shit that should be flung at EA instead
but I could be wrong on this though but I like to believe that all of the loot box crap is 100% EA
I agree and I don't blame them. Though, if you sign a contract with EA nowadays, you should be aware of who you're selling your soul to, so they can't really be suprised...
Tbh if it wasn't for Frostbite, EA probably would've shut DICE down by now. I feel that BioWare's going to get the chop soon.
Exact same happened with bioware with me3 and da2, both rushed out content missing and day one dlc.
Andromeda was a mess but I think that the blame lies solely with bioware with that
I always have and always will blame EA for everything that has them even the slightest bit related
I don't know how this works, but shouldn't there be a class action lawsuit of sort going against EA literally killing off studios after studios, like, how is that kind of practice even acceptable in business law?
But then again, maybe it is actually acceptable to do. Or EA is maybe too big to hunt.
