Riot wont name the teir below bronze wood
and name it iron and gives it a much better icon because they are afraid of OFFENDING the players that reach that teir

well it comes with the negative/toxic notion that people used "wood 5/wood rank/wood division " to flame and harass others about their play. if people didnt do that . but also if you look at all the ranks its different types of precious material, ( for the most part) bronze , silver, gold, plat , diamond so it wouldnt fit in with that theme
but if u look at the strength of the metal iron is stronger than bronze
