Can I buy RP with a different currency?

Åssassin·Jul 27, 2018·2 votes·1,923 views

Hi, I wanted to know if it's possible to change the currency on my account from Euro to USD before buying RP or gifting a friend some skins.

Is it allowed to do so? Because I don't want to pay in Euro.

Thanks.

Well as far as I know you can actually buy everything you want with your curency and it will still count. I mean I buy all my games from steam with "euro" but I have only BGN(Bulgarian curency) in my card. Go ask riot support if it doesn't work for you.

So, why do we have the option to change it to other currencies?

Well, the majority of us are NA, so we won't be too much help. I know mexican and canadian players pay in their currency, so you're probably stuck with Euro, but if your payment method is actually USD but you're just playing in the EU I don't see why riot wouldn't take it.
