Another Cinematic, Another Miss Fortune that's not reflective of her in game counterpart...

First of all, really great Ryze Cinematic. Outdid yourselves again =) However, I gotta get something off my chest. It's been bothering me for a while and this cinematic was the straw that broke the camel's back: Miss Fortune.

Seriously, it's clear that the folks at RIot have this image of Miss Fortune in all of her recent appearances in cinematics and lore updates, that simply doesn't match up what we experience in game. Where's the MF we saw in that 'Surrender' animation? Or the MF we learned more from as dove into the Bilgewater and Harrowing lore expansions and updates?

It's high time Riot. I don't know who needs to do it, but someone needs to just flip the switch. pull the trigger, do WHATEVER and update her to match up, damn it! =(

Yeah it was somewhat disappointing that it's another animation that doesn't look very much like her, but somewhat understandable once you think that Riot probably outsources practically all of their cinematics, so for Ryze who appeared the whole time, it's very accurate, MF, Sona, Trundle, who appear in a blur of maybe a couple seconds? They look different. The only one we get a clear shot of for more than a second or two is Nasus, and I'm sure once you think about how large ascended are described as being, you will see even he is off-model.

Even still though, heck, compare how she looks even in different pictures RIot puts out.

I know what everyone is thinking, but it's more than that too. The hat isn't even the same, and in this example, the outfit is definitely supposed to be the same one*. The latter matches her splash art, the former does not.

*(Notable since she has different outfits she canonly appears with unlike some champions, especially in her comic, and a different one in "The Climb" too, where in the latter, she's actually portrayed decently accurately feature-wise despite being in a different outfit.)

They said they will update her base VO later this year.

I'm always happy to see MF in a cinematic all the same.

( I must admit though, the face is a bit off)

I'm someone who loves MF. I'm not sure what exactly you're complaining about in regards to how it didn't fit her.

If it's about her exact clothing, that's a rather petty reason. It still very much looks like Miss Fortune (even without the hat) and it's even more obvious as you see her using dual pistols. Plus, there's a thing where some artists will make adaptations to clothing whether they realize it or not. It's often not a huge issue and while it creates some inconsistencies, it's not enough to be complaining about.

With the brief bit there was of her, there's not really much else to contest with. She's doing everything she can to avoid being hit and gun slinging during the escape. She didn't say anything, so that's out.

So if you could refine your argument a bit, that'd be great.

Riot often forgets its own lore. Heimerdingers big brain disappeared because Riot literally forgot that his head was swollen from an experiment that increased his brain size and that it was in fact not a giant afro like people thought.

"not reflective of her in game counterpart..."

Why? Because she dodges into cover and shoots guns and in-game where she shoots guns and is somewhat peppy with a few cheesy remarks? And this is contradictory somehow? Because to shoot guns you have to scowl all the time and have no personality?

Real people have had to go through bad things and they are also upbeat. I can tell you that. There are people who have had to do hard things or to shoot at people and they tell jokes. Maybe perhaps the latter because of the former.

She now seems more of a true ginger than a dyed flaming redhead Also, I remember that in comic she had more prominent chin line, while in the video it is more tucked in haha

And then you have the video "The Climb" where she is closest to the appearance from the splash arts.. but then again, looking kinda strange as that type of "real life" version. At least to me xd
