This honor system is a joke

Title, I get honored left and right by non premades, I don't act negative in chat, its the second month in and I'm still at the first checkpoint while people who play less are actually at 3 and everytime I get on my pbe account it tells me I reached the next checkpoint but i barely play on it and I haven't played pvp on there at all. Seriously? How have I not moved one checkpoint? Really Riot? I had more of a chance getting grey ww with the old honor system. How am I supposed to get honor 5 by the end of the season when I haven't moved one checkpoint in a month or so? This is a joke.
